Registration

Details regarding junior registrations (U/6 to U/14) each season can be found in the Club News section and notices are generally placed in the local papers in September.

Follow the guide below to understand and download the required registration/re-registration paper work. Please note that although you can download the forms, juniors (U8 to U14) will need to complete a proficiency swim and fulfill the requirements as set out below on the date specified.

  1. If your most recent Surf Club membership is (or was) Woonona SLSC use the Change of Details form and the Prohibited Employment Declaration form.  A new Prohibited Employment Declaration form must be filled out each year by all Senior Members or a parent/guardian for Junior Members.

  1. If you have never been a member of a Surf Club you need to fill out the Application for New Membership form and the Prohibited Employment Declaration form.  A Prohibited Employment Declaration form must be filled out each year by all Senior Members or a parent/guardian for Junior Members. For Junior Members a birth certificate or other proof of age must also be sighted.

  1. If your most recent Surf Club membership is (or was) a club other than Woonona SLSC you need to fill out the Application for New Membership form and the Prohibited Employment Declaration form. A new Prohibited Employment Declaration form must be filled out each year by all Senior Members or a parent/guardian for Junior Members. For Junior Members a birth certificate or other proof of age must also be sighted.

  1. Junior Participation Skill Evaluation (Proficiency) is required each season by all applicants wanting to register as a Nipper as these vary with age groups. This is a compulsory requirement of Surf Life Saving Australia to participate in any junior activity regardless of whether or not your child intends to take part in water events. If your child participates at a Swim School or Swimming Club then it is acceptable for you to have their coach sign the Pool Swim Certificate and then submit this to the Club.  Details of requirements are on the certificate.
